The chieftain consulted alongside Snorri the Godi (ch. 67, 69) -- almost certainly Guðmundr inn ríki, the same figure as Njáls saga's njala:gudmund-powerful. Njáls saga: "Gudmund the Powerful" / "Gudmund the Mighty". Grettis saga ch. ~59-63 (Hight): "Gudmund the Mighty" appears twice as a chieftain consulted alongside Snorri the Godi on legal/political matters -- the same paired-chieftains context in which Guðmundr inn ríki conventionally appears in saga literature.
Caveat: The bootstrapped Grettis saga entity table originally merged "Gudmund the Mighty" with an unrelated minor figure, "Gudmund the son of Solmund" of Asbjarnarnes (ch. 28, 34), under one bare-name entity -- confirmed by inspecting every "Gudmund" occurrence in the source text. That entity has been manually split into grettla:gudmund-the-mighty (linked here) and grettla:gudmund-solmundarson (not linked, a different person); see the notes on both entities in data/entities/grettla.yaml. Confidence stays "medium" rather than "high" because, unlike the Hoskuld/Hrut link, no passage in this corpus narrates matching parentage for the two Gudmunds -- the identification still rests on the epithet plus the paired-chieftain context, standard saga-scholarship practice but not re-derived here from genealogy alone.
